Crimson Rosella

One of Australia's many gems is the Crimson Rosella. Native to South Eastern Australia these beautiful birds of one subspecies of the Rosellas, all equally beautiful.
Crimson Rosellas are very down to earth simple birds. They enjoy hanging out and looking pretty more than anything. They tend to be very particular to their favorite/mate during breeding season but are more accepting of the general flock the rest of the time.
Marlene Says: These parrots are less hands on than many other parrots but can still make great companions. If you are the type of person who wants a parrot to be present and beautiful, this bird is for you. This may not be the right parrot if you have children.
